Wow…win #2! We won our swim meet against Mountain Lodge by 42 points! SR 803 Mountain Lodge 761…WAY TO GO RENEGADES!!

We’re moving onward planning for our team photos, next 2 home meets…AND the Championship meet.

Team & Individual Photos:

Individual photos will be THIS TUESDAY, June 11^th, beginning at 8 a.m., at the SR pool. No practice that day.

Team photo will be done this Thursday, June 13^th, 7:40 a.m., just before the 1^st SR practice. First practice group for Arbor can stay and practice at SR.

All swimmers should wear their red Renegade t-shirt. If your swimmer will be taking individual photos, it is suggested they wear their black team swimsuit, or red Renegade t-shirt.

If you will be ordering photos, please e-mail our team photographer, Sandra Vasquez, at [email protected] with: Parent name, swimmer(s) name, and phone number. She will reply with payment options (cash, check payable to Sandra Vasquez, Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal).  All photos will be delivered in electronic format.

Home Meets – Tuesday’s June 18^th & 25th:

These two meets are against two Division 1 teams that we will be competing with at the Championship meet. Both teams have about 50% more swimmers than Sonoma Ranch. That’s a challenge…but the Renegades have a history of overcoming challenges! EVERY swimmer is important, and especially at the Championship meet.

At the SR Pool; Renegade arrival time is 3:15 p.m., warm up is 3:45 - 4:15, meet starts at 5 p.m.

Home Meets Sign-Up:

ALL swimmers need to go to the meet sign up page at Sign-up Calendar - Sonoma Ranch Renegades (swimtopia.com) to state if they will, or will not, be attending BOTH meets, by WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12TH. Also, if there are any special notes you need to indicate (i.e., have to leave early, event notations, etc.) PLEASE make sure to include that. Any notifications like that after the meet entries have been finalized create a domino effect of changes that are EXTREMELY difficult to navigate and affect many swimmers.

Championship Meet:

FRIDAY, June 28^th

NISD Natatorium/Dub Farris Stadium, 8400 N. Loop 1604 W. (1604 access road between Bandera and Hausman Rd.)

Renegade arrival time is 8:45 a.m., warm up is 9:30 a.m., meet starts at 10:15 a.m.

Championship Meet Sign-Up:

We are SO fortunate to have the Championship meet SO close to us. If swimmers need help getting there because the meet is on a Friday, let’s band together as neighbors to help each other out. That’s what the Sonoma Ranch/Arbor community does best! We are hoping we can get as close to 100% team participation as possible.

Home Meets for Chick-Fil-A Pre-order:

Pre-order of Chick-Fil-A sandwiches or 8-count nuggets for both home meets is available on the Job Sign-up links at Sign-up Calendar - Sonoma Ranch Renegades (swimtopia.com). Payment can be made by Venmo using @srrenegades, or the attached CashApp QR code. Cash, or check payable to SR Renegades, will also be accepted at the concession table. The cost of both items are $8 each.

Home Meets Volunteers:

We have already had some parents sign up for volunteer positions…THANK YOU SO MUCH! We still have lots of positions to fill. The meet will not be able to start until we have all our volunteers in place. Use the Job Sign Up link at Sign-up Calendar - Sonoma Ranch Renegades (swimtopia.com).
