All of the following information has been handed down by the NEISD aquatics. These are their rules and requirements for using their pools:
Championship Meet:
Monday, June 30th, NEISD Josh Davis Natatorium/Bill Walker Pool, 12002 Jones Maltsberger Rd.; swim meet will be in the Josh Davis pool and warm-ups are in the Bill Walker pool (there is a breezeway that connects the pools); no shade tents or chairs are needed or allowed.
Before Arrival: SWIMMERS MUST HAVE THEIR 1ST AND LAST NAME WRITTEN IN SHARPIE ON THEIR LEFT SHOULDER; PLEASE have your swimmer's event #, heat, lane, and stroke written on their arm. This will save A LOT of time because time will be very tight from entry, to warm up, to event lineup, to meet start time. See the "Before Arrival" section at Swim Meet 101 - Sonoma Ranch Renegades
Renegade arrival time is 6:45 a.m. Immediately check in with coaches in Renegade area of the parking lot.
Swimmers and 1st half volunteers ONLY are allowed to enter the swim center with the coaches at 7 a.m. and follow the coaches to the designated Sonoma Ranch team bleacher area to place their bags and items on the bleachers.
Coaches and 1st half volunteers will walk the swimmers through the breezeway to the warm-up pool, lanes 13 - 18, immediately after bag drop off.
During the meet, ALL swimmers will sit IN THE DESIGNATED TEAM BLEACHERS AREA on the lower-level pool deck area. This is the ONLY way the swimmers will be able to be lined up for their events. NO chairs are allowed. No parents or spectators are allowed on the lower-level pool deck area EXCEPT volunteers with pool deck badge and/or wristband.
Parents will sit in the upper level overlooking the pool. Absolutely NO swimmers will be sitting in the upper level because it will be IMPOSSIBLE to locate and retrieve them for their event.
Heat sheets will be posted on Friday at Meet Heat Sheets & Results - Sonoma Ranch Renegades (swimtopia.com)
Adults are NOT allowed in the women’s and men’s Locker Rooms. Only use the men's & women's restrooms. Swimmers are NOT allowed to use the showers or hangout/play in the locker rooms during the meet; only for swimmer restroom use.
After a swimmer has completed all their events they can go into the spectator area with their parents. Six and under can ask to leave the team area AFTER ALL THEIR EVENTS and the team area parent volunteer must escort them out to the lobby to meet their parents. Parents/spectators are not allowed on the pool deck to retrieve their swimmer...only those with a volunteer wristband or badge is allowed on the pool deck.
Make sure you have downloaded the Swimtopia App and have your notifications turned on. We will use this as a primary source of any necessary communication with you between pool deck level and parent/spectator level.
Championship Meet Volunteers:
The Maverick League assigns required volunteer positions for each team. Ours have been posted on the Sign-Up Calendar page. PLEASE sign up at Sign-up Calendar - Sonoma Ranch Renegades (swimtopia.com). The ONLY way to get on the pool deck level is to volunteer and have your volunteer wristband.
