IMPORTANT Key Reminders & Last Minute Info
Hello Renegades,
Thanks to EVERYONE for the great season we have had leading up to this Championship meet. The logistics for this meet are very different than any of our other Championship meets due to the new location and some issues that arose at last year's meet with a different Division. Thankfully, it was not in our Division, and did not involve our team but unfortunately, it did affect this year's location of the meet and strict enforcement of the rules. However, many of these rules are standard Northeast ISD mandated. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to help.
We hope to see everyone at the Champ Meet carb load for some team fellowship and fun today, Sunday, 5 p.m., at CiCi's pizza, 12822 IH 10 (at DeZavala).
CiCi's is providing 20% off their menu price.
Wear your Renegade shirt and make sure to let them know when ordering that you are part of the Sonoma Ranch Renegades team. We'll do a quick team huddle and cheer about 5:30/5:45.
Volunteers:
- Still need 1 Awards; 8 Lane Line-up (this is a great and simple position right at pool side); 2 Lobby Elevator door monitors; 3 timers
- These positions were assigned to our team by the Maverick League. Linda and Camille can’t cover all these positions
- A separate e-mail will be sent to the volunteers with more specific information
Arrival:
- Arrival time is 6:30 to NO LATER THAN 6:45 A.M.
- Go to the Renegade check-in area near the main entrance to the Josh Davis pool
- Swimmers should come to the pool already dressed ready to warm-up! They will quickly find a seat in the designated team area, set down their bags and get ready to head over to the warmup pool.
REMEMBER – Before Arrival:
- Write 1ST AND LAST NAME in sharpie on your swimmer’s left shoulder
- Write event #, heat, lane, and stroke on your swimmer’s arm; See the "Before Arrival" section at Swim Meet 101 - Sonoma Ranch Renegades for instructions and sample

Swimmers:
- Swimmers ONLY can bring in their regular backpack/swim bag (does not have to be clear), towels, healthy snacks/light meal, water/drinks.
- The team is also allowed and will provide an ice chest with water and limited Gatorade

The parent volunteers in our pool deck team area will have means of communicating with you, if necessary, through the Swimtopia App. Make sure you have it downloaded, and notifications turned on; Please tell your swimmer if they need to communicate with you to please go to one of the two parent volunteers (Mrs. Seneff or Mrs. Wiggins) for anything they need. That is what they are there for, to help them, keep them safe, and watch over them
