Hello Renegades,

The start of the 2026 Renegades swim team season begins with the 1st day of practice on Monday, May 11th. Please read this e-mail in its entirety for team swimsuit, evaluations, practice, and meet sign up information.

Team Swimsuit Info:

Our first swim meet is on Monday, May 30th. Please plan to visit the SwimFreak store to purchase your swimmer's Renegade team swimsuit.

SwimFreak is located at Bandera Rd. and Old Prue Rd., 10350 Bandera Rd. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 11:30am-6pm; Sat 10am-3pm; Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Let the store attendant know you are purchasing the Sonoma Ranch Renegades team suit.

The team suit is a black one-piece for girls, and jammers or speedo style for boys. Embroidery of our team logo will be available from our parent vendor. Additional information and costs for embroidery will be communicated soon.

Swim Evaluations:

New swim team members, under the age of 10 only, are required to complete the swim evaluations.

Swim evaluations will be Saturday, May 9th, anytime between 9 - 10 a.m., at the Sonoma Ranch pool, 170 Ruidosa Downs. Temporary drive-thru gate code is #5864.

Swimmers must be able to swim the long length of the pool without assistance or grabbing onto the wall. No specific technique or swim stroke is required.

If your swimmer cannot attend on Saturday their evaluation can be done a few minutes before their designated practice time on Monday.

Swim Practice:

Swim practice will begin on Monday, May 11th at the Sonoma Ranch pool for ALL swimmers due to the Arbor pool being closed on Monday's.  ARBOR SWIMMERS -- for Monday practice please use the Sonoma Ranch practice schedule times.

Swim Meet Sign Up:

Please visit the Sign-Up Calendar page, Sign-up Calendar - Sonoma Ranch Renegades, to let us know if you swimmer will or will not be attending the 1st swim meet. PLEASE NOTE WE NEED EVERYONE TO GO TO THE PAGE TO STATE EITHER ATTENDING OR NOT ATTENDING. We also need our parents to sign up to volunteer for a timer position. PLEASE NOTE EACH FAMILY IS REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER AT A MINIMUM OF 2 SWIM MEETS.
