Hello Renegades,

Here are some meet reminders for Thursday's meet, as well as our next home meet Chick-Fil-A pre-order link and dive practice cancellation info.:

Meet at Whispering Oaks:

Our swim meet is THURSDAY, June 18th, at Whispering Oaks, 11219 Whisper Valley. Whispering Oaks is a great host and has a great, shaded area for our team and parents.

Arrival time is 4:45 p.m., warm-up is 5:15 p.m., the meet will start at 6 p.m.

Timers Meeting: 5:40pm (If you have signed up to be a timer, please listen for the announcement for the timer's meeting. WE STILL NEED 5 1ST HALF AND 7 2ND HALF TIMERS FOR THIS MEET.

Parking:

The pool is inside the neighborhood. 11219 Whisper Valley, San Antonio, TX 78230 Please ensure you do NOT park in the ‘NO Parking’ areas along Whisper Valley. It may be roped off, but there are signs. On the corner of Whisper Valley and Whisper Bluff there is a FIRE HYDRANT. Police will ticket and/or tow. Whispering Oaks neighbors support swim team, but they kindly ask that we do not block their driveways.

Set Up:

There will be a designated area in the shade for our swim team members to sit together.

Parents can set up anywhere they would like near the team area.  No shade tents are necessary, but you will need chairs for sitting. There are some benches along the pool side to utilize during the races ONLY.  Chair set up is not allowed in that area.

Volunteers:

THANK YOU to those who have signed up to be a timer.

We still need A LOT of timers. Please sign-up on the Sign-Up page Sign-up Calendar - Sonoma Ranch Renegades; click on the green "Job Sign Up" link

Concessions:

Concessions will be available - Whispering Oaks will offer a variety of drinks options (water, name-brand soda, Gatorade®), cheese and pepperoni pizza, and a variety of snack options. Kona Ice will be on site for purchasing shaved ice. Please support concessions as this is part of fund raising for the teams.  Whispering Oaks has requested no coolers or outside food and drink unless there are special dietary restrictions.

Home Meet, June 23rd, Chick-Fil-A Pre-order:

Please pre-order your Chick-Fil-A for our next home meet on Tuesday no later than Sunday, June 21st - Chick-Fil-A - $8 each - Sonoma Ranch/Fair Oaks Ranch June 23rd

Dive Practice:

Dive Practice has been cancelled for this Saturday, June 20th.
