Hello Renegades,

Congratulations on a great meet!  Each team's swim participant numbers were about even but we won by 340 points!  That's great team members and great coaches!  But, it's already time to move on to the next event.  Please read through the IMPORTANT Championship information below.

Championship Meet Dinner/Carb Load:

We will have our pizza and pasta carb load Friday, June 22nd, 5 p.m., at CiCi's pizza, 12822 IH 10 (at DeZavala).

CiCi's is providing 20% off of their menu price.

Wear your Renegade shirt and make sure to let them know when ordering that you are part of the Sonoma Ranch Renegades team. We'll do a quick team huddle and cheer about 5:30/5:45.

Championship Meet:

Saturday, June 27^th, Southwest ISD Aquatic Center, 9290 SW Loop 410, arrival time 7:30 a.m.  There is a small parking lot with handicap parking in front of the building. Most cars will park behind the natatorium in the Christa McAuliffe MS parking lots.

Before Arrival: SWIMMERS MUST HAVE THEIR 1ST AND LAST NAME WRITTEN IN SHARPIE ON THEIR LEFT SHOULDER; PLEASE have your swimmer's event #, heat, lane, and stroke written on their arm. This will save A LOT of time because time will be very tight from entry, to warm up, to event lineup, to meet start time. See the "Before Arrival" section at Swim Meet 101 - Sonoma Ranch Renegades

Renegade arrival time is 7:30 a.m. Immediately check in with coaches in Renegade area.

This is an indoor natatorium.  Spectator seating overlooks the two swimming pools.

Per the Maverick league admin, they discourage elderly & young children from attending unless they can navigate VERY STEEP STAIRS! NO WAGONS OR STROLLERS due to lack of space. Make other arrangements for small children.

Championship Meet Volunteers:

The Maverick League assigns required volunteer positions for each team. Our assignments are VERY reasonable and have been posted on the Sign-Up Calendar page. Any parents whose swimmer will be at the meet but has not volunteered yet, or has only volunteered at one meet, PLEASE sign up at Sign-up Calendar - Sonoma Ranch Renegades (swimtopia.com). The ONLY way to get on the pool deck level is to volunteer and have your volunteer wristband.

ALL volunteers must wear a deck badge and/or wristband.
